Group Lead Responsibilities

As a Group Lead, you will work directly with Ms. Travelista Inc. on behalf of the group to organize, plan and customize your trip. As a Group Lead, your responsibilities include.

  • You are the point of contact during the planning process and travel. You will communicate information to your group members.
  • Promote your trip (with our support when needed) to your network by social media, email, social media and other methods of promoting.
  • Respond to inquiries and answer questions as it relates to your group trip.
  • You are responsible for the cost of promotional and marketing material, (e.g., cost to get flyers created).
  • You will be responsible for the collection of payments from your group. Ms. Travelista will receive the collect payments from you (Group Lead).

Overall Group Lead Benefits

Group Leads are essential and play a vital role in promoting, organizing, and leading a group and in return, Group Leads will receive rewards, including:

  • Incentives up to free travel based on your group size and travel package cost.
  • Professional support, and onboarding.
  • Customized content development to help you create flyers and promote your trip.
  • Groups can be booked ten months in advance when flights and hotels are more available, and in many cases resulting in a lower fare.
  • You are assigned a personal Travel Advisor who helps you from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a group?

A group is ten or more people, traveling on the same schedule at the same time.

How is it different than an individual reservation?

Ms. Travelista Inc. will negotiate directly with vendors to create a contract that meets your budget and travel needs. Final names and balances are not required during the time of booking but closer to the travel date.

How far in advance can I book?

It depends if your trip includes flights. Many airlines will take bookings between 300-330 days before the date of travel.

How does the booking process work?

Step 1 – Inquiry & Proposal We gather information from you and then present you with a proposal with a few options that address your travel needs.

Step 2 – Selection You choose an option, and we submit a request to the vendors. We send you a confirmation and invoice with deposit requirements and payment plan terms.

Step 3- Deposit We collect the deposit from the Group Lead.

Step 4 – Final Count The final traveler count must be submitted 130 days before travel. Your last chance to cancel, increase, or reduce numbers.

*Groups must remain at ten or more. All payments are nonrefundable due to contracted group rates. It is required for each person in the travel group to purchase travel insurance. There is an $60 nonrefundable administration fee due to Ms. Travelista Inc. before research and arrangements are conducted.

Step 5 - Balance of payment & Travel Documents The balance of your payment is due 45-60 days prior to travel. We process your travel documents and send them with information, final itineraries,emergency contact information, and other relevant information for your group.
